WHAT ABOUT ME

I've lived most of my life around Rochester NY - and a pretty part of the world it is. We have a Great Lake, the fantastic Finger Lakes, four seasons (sometimes in a single day) and Niagara Falls and Canada right on our doorstep.

Ages 13-24 were in NYC - including High School and 2+ years at CCNY, and very short stints in Peace Corps and Army training. Neither of them seemed to want me. 12 years after starting in NYC, I was graduated from the Univ. of Rochester. As an English major. Cantcha tell?

I've got a loving wife and daughter and two wondrous granddaughters. I even like my son-in-law.  I love travel and the splendor of nature, hikes with our chocolate lab, wide swaths of music, art and entertainment, food and drink, gardening and word games and languages.  I also love ping pong, disc and regular golf and swimming.

The urge to write began decades ago, and there's lots of stuff in assorted folders that I worked on before I decided to go with my current nonfiction effort.
